Welcome to Wappenwerk!
I create shields, standards, tent paintings and more inspired by medieval manuscript art, heraldry, and historical originals. Each piece is crafted entirely by hand and painted using traditional techniques. On request, individual motifs can be realized – from simple coats of arms to more elaborate scenes. The works are suited for reenactment and events, as well as unique pieces for collectors and admirers of medieval art.

What I offer at a glance:
- Heraldic and parade shields – elaborately designed, based on historical originals or entirely individual creations
- Heraldic standards – with your family coat of arms in the fitting reenactment period or with a custom design of your choice
- Wooden boxes(“Spandosen”) and storage vessels – painted in a traditional style, each piece a unique work
- Pennons, flags & banners – for reenactment, markets, or as decoration
- Tent paintings – decorated tent elements, from authentic overall concepts to entirely individual designs
- Custom commissions – personal coats of arms, motifs on request, and smaller painting projects
- Exhibitions & markets – a late medieval market stall with tent for sales and live demonstrations of medieval painting with egg tempera on site
