Sewing and Textiles
Here you will find painted or sewn standard, pennons, flags, and banners – whether based on historical models or entirely individual designs. You can also choose between machine-sewn or fully handmade pieces. The standard fabrics used are heavy tent linen to ensure that standards and pennons hang nicely, though other fabric choices are possible upon request. The painting is done with textile paints and then fixed for durability. On request, a complete set with all wooden components – frame, pole, decorative elements, and a matching carrying strap – is also available.

Individually sewed & painted — in just a few steps
Currently, I create the following types:
Standard with full coat of arms
Elaborately painted heraldic standards with full coat of arms (shield, helmet, mantling, and crest). For each piece, I research suitable depictions of the coat of arms and adapt later versions to the desired reenactment period. Often, this requires digitizing and vectorizing the historical arms, which is also available upon request.

Standard with individual motif
Depending on your wishes, I can design entire scenes in the desired medieval style – nearly anything is possible. Suitable for reenactment, but also for LARP.

Heraldic pennons
Double-sided painted or sewn heraldic pennons, with mixed forms also possible. They are made of linen and come with matching eyelets for easy attachment to the banner pole.

Pennons with individual motifs
Double-sided painted or sewn pennons with custom motifs. These are also made of linen and come with eyelets for attachment.

Flags and banners
Larger flags and banners, for example with full coats of arms or based on historical models, are also possible — feel free to contact me about this!
