On request, I also paint tents and tent elements based on historical models or individual motifs. This often requires more extensive research, comprehensive design concepts for the painting, and a digital version of the design created in a CAD program. I work with textile paints here as well, as they remain flexible after drying while still becoming water-resistant, unlike acrylic or similar paints.

At the moment, I am working on two late medieval tents with apses: one a two-masted tent and a smaller single-mast tent. For the Gothic tracery, various 15th-century paintings served as templates. The design is complemented by a simple painting of the roof, Latin motto scrolls on the caparisons, and a medallion with a pair of falcons on the fabric panel of the entrance.
